WE Watch Information Video released to aid in voter's education
In preparation for the May 10 elections, EILER released today a four-minute video on how to vote.
The animated clip features the step-by-step process in casting one's votes under the Automated Election System (AES), the gadgets to be used in the polling sites, and a preview on how votes are counted under the AES. Viewers are also introduced to a text hotline to which they can report any incident of fraud during the election season.
The video was produced under EILER's Worker's Electoral Watch or WE-Watch program with funding from the European Union. The creative team behind the video came from Tudla Multimedia Productions. It will be distributed among labor groups, community-based organizations, and churches that have pledged their support to the project.
“It will help inform our members on what to expect when they go to the precincts. We can't wait to get a copy the video,” said one labor group leader during the WE-Watch launch .
Interested parties may copy and release as many of the material as they want. EILER, in fact, encourages everyone to reproduce and distribute the video to a wider audience.
An on-line copy of the video may be downloaded from www.we-watch.net.
